Meena Dasari
Meena Dasari, Ph.D specializes in clinical applications of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and CBPT to effectively treat anxiety symptoms, especially for complex cases.
Dr. Dasari’s professional background led her to develop strong foundations in evidence based cognitive behavioral treatments.
For over 10 years, she worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU School of Medicine and Bellevue Hospital Center. She supervised psychiatry residents in the Psychiatry Department, served as a therapist in the Pediatrics Department, and gave advice for research projects in different departments.
Prior to this position, Dr. Dasari began her career in New York City with her Post Doctoral Fellowship at NYU Child Study Center. She completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Case Western Reserve University, where she obtained specialized coursework in pediatric psychology.
Dr. Dasari holds a B.S. from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Dasari has published many articles, presented at conferences, and participated in interviews discussing current mental health issues. She believes strongly in supporting child mental health globally and contributes yearly to several charitable organizations worldwide.
