Ornella Argento
Ornella Argento is a Psychologist at the CBPT Research Center where she coordinates the Scientific Research Area.
She graduated in Psychology – Diagnosis and Rehabilitation of Cognitive Disorders at the “Sapienza” University of Rome.
She holds a master’s degree in “Learning Disorders” and a master’s degree in “Legal and Forensic Psychology” at the “Galton” Institute.
For 10 years she has been carrying out research in the fields of psychology, neuropsychology and cognitive sciences, obtaining numerous scholarships and funding for the conduct and coordination of research projects.
She is the author of numerous scientific publications in national and international journals with impact factor.
She has participated in numerous national and international conferences both as a speaker and as a poster presenter.
She is the author of several chapters published in internationally relevant manuals.
She has participated as a Psychologist and Study Coordinator in experimental pharmacological protocols supported by the major pharmaceutical companies.
She teaches at the Masters in “Highly specialized neurorehabilitation” and “Neurorehabilitation and Aging Brain” proposed by the Giunti Academy in collaboration with the “Santa Lucia” Foundation in Rome. Since 2013, she has been working as a freelancer with psychological therapy activities and treatments for the management of behavioral disorders for children and adolescents; assessment, rehabilitation and cognitive enhancement over a lifetime.
