About this course
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) in children is characterized by recurrent, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions). Pediatric OCD can significantly impair a child's daily functioning, academic performance, and family relationships.
This course demonstrates how CBPT integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) — the gold-standard treatment for OCD — within a play therapy framework, making it developmentally appropriate for young children. Participants will learn structured protocols applicable from the next clinical session.
