Scientific direction
Our work is guided by the science of CBPT and led by its pioneer — advanced, documented and continuously updated.

Led by the science of CBPT and its pioneer.
Susan M. Knell
Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy was theorized by Susan M. Knell, who provides the scientific direction of our program. CBPT integrates evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy within the play therapy paradigm, for children including preschool age.
As a Research Center, we advance and document the model — defining clear guidelines, case conceptualization and paths for future research.
Evidence-based
Grounded in APA-published research and continuously updated with the literature — the foundation of everything we teach.
Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy lets us bring evidence-based therapy into the child's own language: play.
