Treat Anxiety in children with CBPT — evidence-based protocol by Susan M. Knell
What you will be able to do
About this course
Anxiety and specific fears are among the most common mental health presentations in childhood. While some level of anxiety is developmentally normal, clinically significant anxiety can interfere with a child's daily functioning, school performance, and social development.
This course demonstrates how CBPT uses graduated exposure techniques — embedded within play — to help anxious and fearful children develop coping skills and reduce avoidance. Participants learn protocols that are immediately applicable in clinical practice.
