About this course
Therapeutic storytelling — the clinical use of narratives, metaphors, and story-based activities — is a powerful tool for engaging children in therapy and facilitating insight and change. Stories allow children to explore difficult themes at a safe distance and develop new perspectives.
This course provides structured guidance on how to use storytelling therapeutically within CBPT, including how to construct therapeutic stories aligned with a child's case conceptualization and how to use narrative techniques for cognitive and emotional processing.
